Merry Christmas and Happy 100th Post!

Merry Christmas! We had a wonderful Christmas this year. Nice and quiet and low key.... it was perfect. My camera pooped out on Christmas Eve so with the help of my sister and brother in law we got my pictures off my memory card and then put it into a borrowed camera so we could get all the fun pictures until Ben and I could get another camera. Thank you Lindsay and Ryan!
So here are our holiday pics.
Here is me and Mya. This is the one of Mike and Lindsay's puppies. She's super cute and ready to explore. This one is going to Lindsay's sister in AZ.
Here's Alex with all the puppies. The boys are playing with Grandma Bonnie's Thomas Train that goes around her tree.
Here are my boys playing. Love them!
Here's the tree before any of the boys got up.
Dad and Spencer. He is not a morning person.
Alex enjoying a treat as he opens his present from his Preschool teacher Miss Jennifer.
Alex is loving his movie "Babe"
Notice something different about Ben? He finally got contacts! Yea! No more getting poked in the eyes when we kiss. He's also enjoying Stephie's presents from Alaska.
Steph got Izzy some fur lined booties.

And dad got his signed copy of the Sarah Palin book. We all got a real good laugh at that.
Grandma trying to wrap up Spence.
Grandma got each of the couples a remote controlled helicopter. Spencer was in love with them and just laughed every time they came down. He would run over to it and try and smother it. As you can see it took a few people to keep him away from them :)
Mike is practicing his skills.
And Spencer just giggling at them.
We also got to talk to Dani for the last time before she comes home in April. It seems so short but feels like so long since she was here. We talked to Stephie as well. She's coming in New Year's Eve and gets to stay a week before she heads back and gets ready for her training to be deployed to Iraq in April.
We love our family and are grateful for the time we were able to spend with all of them over the last few weeks. Hoping 2010 will be a wonderful and safe year for everyone.

What Alex likes

I just asked Alex what he wanted to eat this week cause I'm making up my grocery list. He said he didn't know, so I asked him what we eat that he likes and he says, "I like to eat at Grandma's house. We eat Mac and Cheese and cottage cheese and cheese........ oh yeah and salad." Anything with cheese in it and Alex is up for it. Now I know why he gets along so well with Aunt Lindsay. Cheese addicts.

This never happens

On a really really good day I'll get one of my boys to take a nap. But never both on the SAME day at the SAME time. Well here is proof that miracles happen. Both boys asleep - in their own rooms. At least Alex made it to his bed.

My cute sleeping babies.

La La La

We haven't posted in awhile so here are a smorgasbord of random pics.
This is Alex after he got of of Preschool on Halloween. Can you tell that he LOVES preschool?

This is Alex with Grandpa Hulk. It took a little while for Alex to warm up to him and Spencer would have nothing to do with Grandpa till he took of the mask.

Mike is trying to convince Alex to put his hand inside the pumpkin. Alex is looking at his hand and is thinking it's too important to be gooped up by the innards of a pumpkin.

Of course Mike ended up with his hand inside.

The start of our Fabulous Halloween Pumpkin Carving Party

Here's our boys dressed up for Halloween. Spencer has on a U of U track windbreaker outfit. And Alex is our Air Force Captain in BDU's. He borrowed Grandpa's Captain's bars - now he outranks his Aunt Stephie :)

Here's a Spencer pic courtesy of Alex.

Here's the two Grandma sisters. They thought it would be fun to take their grandsons out for a day at the park.

Here's our airplane. This is what we do most nights.

Here's another Alex picture. My boys' hands.

These next two are too funny. I made the boys go in their rooms for a little "quiet time" after a long day out. Spencer was crying at his gate and finally fell asleep there.

Here's my silly boy.

The rest of these are from Alex. When I download my pics onto the computer I end up with 60 or so treasures from him taking my camera and snapping some and then putting it back before I know it's gone.

Love it!

More Bingbell

Ryan and Sarah brought Izzie home yesterday and we just "happened" to be there when they got there.
Alex got to hold her and he was so cute with her. He was very soft and gentle. Spencer just sat and grinned and giggled at her. Way Cute!

Bingbell is here!

Izabelle Bailey Barth was born yesterday at 5:16 pm. She was 7 lb 7 oz and 21 inches long. When Sarah was pregnant she asked Alex what the baby's name should be he told her "Ninja" (No idea where that came from. I didn't even know he knew that word lol) then later when they had decided on a name they told Alex that her name was going to be Izabelle or Izzie for short he started calling her Bingbell. So Bingbell has stuck and that's all we call her at our house.
When I was leaving the house to go and see Sarah and Ryan at the hospital, Alex told me, "Mom, be nice to Sarah and to Bingbell. BYE!"
So here are some of the first pictures of Bingbell. She looks just like Sarah.

Fun at the zoo

Grandma Doris took us to the zoo last Sat. We haven't been in a awhile and lots of the animals had babies over the summer. Yeah!
This is the cutest little baby there. Zuri the 250 pound baby elephant.

The baby giraffe was pretty cute too.
The tiger cubs were rolling around and playing.
Alex loves the lion fountains.
And a wolf that is always asleep when we go.
Thanks Grandma Doris for the fun day.
