Stupid Tooth

So, my tooth starts to hurt on Wednesday. Not a big deal. I thought maybe I'd eaten something the night before and it scratched my gum or something. That night however I got maybe 4 hours of sleep because it HURT all night long. Then yesterday it GOT WORSE. I was popping pills to keep it manageable and I call my dentist to see if I could get an appointment for today. NOPE. They decided to take a LONG WEEKEND!!!!! WHAT???!!!????!!!!!! Since when is Thursday to Sunday an acceptable weekend and more importantly when is it ok to be out of the office when I NEED him? So I got all of 2 hours of sleep last night. Then today I started calling around to see who could get me in the fastest. I found one, saw him for all of 30 seconds, enough time to check my tooth to make sure nothing was lodged in my gum and he said, "Well, there's nothing I can do." THANKS ALOT!!!! It appears that the root canal I had done 7-8 years ago has now become infected. Yeah INFECTED. So I have to go get it done a second time and if it is too gross then they will have to rip the tooth out. What did I pay the first guy to do??? HELLO!!! So now next Friday is shot too. And to top it all off, as I was walking out of the dentist's office he says, "Have a nice weekend." Stupid tooth.

Greens

Stephanie graduated from Basic Training last week. So mom and dad and grandpa went down to see her and take her out on the town in San Antonio. Stephanie bribed mom into getting these "greens" for the boys. They sure are cute though!!

No snowmen today

We thought that we'd take the boys out back and do a few snowmen. It makes it a little difficult when the snow has crystallized and you can walk on top of it. So our plans changed and we pulled the kids in the sled instead.Grandma and Grandpa Hart showed up so Grandpa thought he'd show the boys how it's done. Then he tried pulling his own son. It didn't work quite the same.

Just for added caution, Alex tied up the sled to the fence, just in case it decided to go somewhere.

Silly Spencer

So, here are a few pictures of Spencer from the last couple of weeks. He got a rocking chair from Great-Grandpa Boswell and he loves it. Now he can be just like his brother and rock while they watch movies.

Here he is wearing his construction hat and playing with his race track. Now Alex thinks it's fun to wear the hat.

And this is what I found him doing yesterday. He LOVES to sit in the bathroom sink and get into things. But of course he has to have his blankie with him.
