Latest cake

I did this one for my sister-in-law Lindsay's sister. She is having twins any day now. Lindsay wanted baby blocks - so there are two of them with their initials and either a 1 or a 2. This was an adventure trying to move the blocks onto the main cake without messing up any of the fondant!

A cold Bear Lake

Ok, so my pictures won't move so this will be a back to front and in between kind of post.
Last weekend we went to Bear Lake. We thought it would be a wonderful hot day because it had been in the 90's all week. NOPE. We got the coldest day for months -a whopping 53 degrees. But we didn't want to cancel our day so we went up anyway.
There was all of like 10 people there when we arrived. Alex and Spence stayed wrapped up in their jackets and towels most of the day.
Here's Ben after a very cold ride on the jet ski.
This was more towards the end of the day when the sun finally came out. Mike got almost everybody in a water fight.
He's saying sorry to Spencer after getting him and he started crying.
Alex is trying to get uncle Mike back.
Spencer didn't really like the 4 wheeler ride.
The boys.
Before the water fight Mike was making Alex into a race car.

Spencer is trying to help bury himself while eating a cookie.
Spencer playing in the sand eating another cookie.
Alex was all for the 4 wheeler rides.
He even convinced Grandma Bonnie to take him on a ride.
Here is another cookie.

This is a bag of chips. Man this kid eats a lot!

So we had a pretty fun day even with the cold weather. Hope it's not the last lake visit this year cause we didn't get enough fun packed into this summer yet.

Heart shaped tomato

Here's a tato (Alex speak) that Alex and I found in the garden.

Real Salt Lake Soccer

We got to go to the Real Salt Lake vs. Seattle soccer game on Sat. It was way cool! And we won so that was awesome 1-0. We all had a good time. We even brought Mike with us.
Spencer was scared of all the noise so through most of the game he was crying but then he found if he gave dad a little piece of granola bar he would eat it and made gobbling sounds. He loved that!
Here's me, Alex and uncle Mike.

And of course Alex was being silly through most of the game.
