So I don't know how many of you do this but I start so many projects one after another until I finally am overwhelmed enough to not want to do any of them. I've been super busy with projects this summer not to mention kids, husband, house and all the things that come with summer.

I've been refinishing a cabinet that belonged to Ben's grandma. This week I finally finished sanding it. Now I just have to paint it. (Cross your fingers - hopefully it will be done this weekend).
Then there's the garden. I wanted to try and can spagetti sauce this year so we have tons of tomato plants. Only problem is, our tomatos don't want to turn red. So we've been picking them a few at a time - skinning them, mushing them, and then freezing them till the others are ready. And we just cut down our gigantic sunflower. So we've been salting and cooking the seeds up. Yum!
Then I've been working on blankets for the boys for Christmas presents the last few months. I knew it was going to take awhile so I started early. I just finished yesterday with sewing Spencer's together. Now I need to get backing and batting for them and put them all together.
Then I'm trying to come up with a fun project to do with my sisters for our "Last Condie Girl Slumber Fling For Awhile" Party we're having in a couple of weeks. I found a cute pendant maker site (thanks Allison) on how to make tile pendants. So each one of us can wear a necklace that will remind us of each other. (My sis Dani is leaving for NC in a month (see below) and my sis Steph is leaving for TX for basic training in the Air Force in the next month or two). So we are going to make a night of doing crafts, watching movies, playing games, and eating, eating and more eating. Then to top of the busyness I've been reading nonstop. The Twilight books have been fantastic and then with all the other fab reads I've found this summer it has been jam packed. So right about now I'm just ready to take a nap.
